Mark Santer
Mark Santer (born 29 December 1936) is a retired Anglican bishop.〔Who’s Who 2008 (London, A & C Black, 2008 ISBN 978-0-7136-8555-8〕 Santer was educated at Marlborough College and Queens’ College, Cambridge before his ordination in 1964.〔Crockford's clerical directory London, Church House 1975 ISBN 0-19-200008-X〕 After being a curate he was a tutor at Ripon College Cuddesdon; Dean and Fellow of Clare College, Cambridge; assistant lecturer in divinity at the University of Cambridge and finally Principal of Westcott House, Cambridge〔''The Times'', 20 May 1972, p. 16, "Rev Mark Santer to be Principal of Westcott House, Cambridge"〕 before his ordination to the episcopate as area Bishop of Kensington in 1981.
